Crypto Coins: Mackinagans Island Hotel, Hilton, and Long Beach Hotel coming to US, and the hotel’s name will be “Budapest Island”
MACKINAGANS ISLAND HOTEL and its Hilton Hotel are set to open their doors to US customers in 2018, with the hotel, which has been in operation since 2010, set to begin a US expansion in 2019.
The Hilton Hotel is expected to be a hotel in the historic city of Budapest, Hungary, located about 20 kilometers south of Budapest, and will offer four rooms for around $50 a night, according to a report from Reuters.
According to Reuters, the hotel will be named “Buda”, in homage to Budapest’s old city of the same name, and has been known for hosting concerts, festivals, art shows, and other events.
Hilton has not yet released any further details on its plans for the property, which will be located in the old city.
The hotel’s current name is “Budeg”, but in Hungary it is often referred to as “Büdda”, the name of the capital city.
The hotel will open at the end of this year, and is set to be fully operational by the end for 2019, according a press release from Budapest City Hall.
“The hotel’s new design will be based on the original hotel, with new design elements and elements from the future, such as a restaurant and bar, which we are very proud of,” the press release stated.
Mackinagan Island Hotel and Hilton are both located in Budapest’s Old Town, which was once the capital of the country before it was conquered by the Austro-Hungarian Empire in 1894.
It has since been the home of Buda, Buda Castle, and Buda Cathedral.
